Depending on the season, you might hook into Sailfish, Striped Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Amberjack, Jack Crevalle, Black Marlin, Great Barracuda, Blue Marlin, Roosterfish, and who knows what else! During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Jonathan also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Your trip begins aboard a 27' Don Joaquin panga with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
