Welcome to Suncoast Scalloping in Crystal River! Join us for a half day trip to the Crystal River scallop grounds and with the assistance of your included in-water guide, get ready to fill your limit! With Captain Judge at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands and we can't wait to take you out.
Your boat for the day is a 26' Tritoon with a 300hp engine that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a perfect day on the water. Plenty of luxury vinyl seating around, two large coolers fully stocked with ice and complimentary bottled water, and what's more, this vessel is even fully covered to help keep everyone out of the Florida sun.
Masks, snorkels, fins, scallop bags, and even fishing licenses for the day are also all included with your charter, so no need to stress and worry about getting your own gear.
If you want to use your own gear you are more than welcome to bring it and use it.
You'll have the help of an in-water guide to put you on scallops, assist with anyone in the water who may be new to snorkeling or scalloping, and they'll even be taking photos along the way that we send to you for no extra charge!
It's always wise to bring sunblock (non-spray), towels, sun-shirts, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring lunch, drinks, snacks, you are more than welcome to. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but we ask that you avoid glass bottles and consume responsibly.

We had such a great time with Captain Judge and his mate! They were both incredibly knowledgeable and made the day so much fun. His mate even got in the water with our boys, teaching them how to spot scallops and all the little tricks to finding them. Thanks to their help, we came home with a huge dinner's worth of scallops! Captain Judge was also full of cool local history. As a fifth-generation Floridian ourselves, we especially enjoyed hearing his stories and appreciated his knowledge and love for the area. We couldn't have asked for a better day on the water. Highly recommend!

The captain Judge and mate Josh were amazing. They were extremely responsive in returning messages quickly, had us completely prepared for the trip and were amazing hosts and guides once we were on board . It was also a big plus that the entire boat was covered by a bimini providing a lot of sun protection. I would highly recommend this crew!
Didnt realize how fun this scallop snorkeling/diving adventure would be! If you are competitive, like eye spy, or just like being on the water this is the trip for you! Huge thank you to captain and his helping hand (who also got quite a bag load of scallops hereself!)! Professional and put us right on top of them. Definitely reccomend and would come back to do it again!
Me, my wife and our 14 yr old daughter went on a scalloping trip. Judge and Gabby are the best! Highly recommend them to anyone! They explained everything thoroughly and gave plenty of tips which helped us accomplish the gathering of a 5 gallon bucket full!!! Couldnt be happier and more full!!! Took the scallops to be cooked up and WOW! They were amazing too!! Great Day!!

We had the BEST time. Captain Judge and Josh were SO much fun! We were put on the perfect place to gather SO many scallops. They gave great advice, were personable and hillarious! We walked away with dinner, family memories and a new skill! (learned how to clean them!) highly recommend.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 25% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
