Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Vermilion 'Mingo' Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Gag Grouper, and anything else that bites. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Josh has over 30 years of fishing experience on the waters near Pensacola. He operates a 28' Parker Pilothouse with space for up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's even toilet and refrigerator on board for your convenience.
Capt. Josh will supply all the rods, reels, tackle, bait and ice for your trip. A First Mate will be there to help you with baiting, fishing techniques, and handling your fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Anglers are encouraged to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip! There will be some drinks onboard (water, sports drink), but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation (no liquor or glass bottles).

We were Real Blessed to have chose Captain Josh and the Reel Blessed crew for our fishing adventure. Captain Josh was professional and walked us through his vessel, safety aspects, and our itinerary upon our arrival. After a moment of prayer we cast off on our adventure! The seas were a little rough coming and going and Captain Josh made sure we were all OK throughout the journey. We got to the destination and Captain Josh kept us on the fish until seven of us had limited out! Thanks to the Captain and his crew we were able to share a day full of fellowship, laughter, adventure, and tight lines. I was able to take my son on his first fishing trip as a father and son. We were able to lock in a memory that will last a lifetime. If you like fish, love God, and are searching for a great charter, look no further than Reel Blessed. We did, and thanks to Captain Josh and his crew we walked away feeling Reel Blessed!
