Freeport has a fish with your name on it, so let Reely Blessed Fishing Charters help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain James can tell you all about the local fishery.
Black Drum, Ladyfish, Redfish, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, and more could be biting, depending on conditions. You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, popping, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Capt. James operates a 22' Carolina Skiff center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Reely Blessed Fishing Charters.

2 Hour Trip – Beginners (PM) on July 3, 2025
We were on a beginners two hour trip. Captain James met us on time and put us on some fish within the first 20 minutes. Unfortunately the bite didn’t last. We caught a total of 6 fish. 5 baitfish and one redfish. Nothing big enough to keep. He tried three other spots to get us back on some fish, but it just didn’t happen. He even stayed out an extra 30 mins just to make every effort to get the kids some fish. This is a beginners trip, so we just casted out shrimp and the baitfish we caught. We did not troll. Captain James had plenty of rods and reels, which came in handy the few times we got hung up. He baited the hooks and was willing to cast for us if needed. All in all we had a good experience. Captain James is excellent with the kids. He was personable and very knowledgeable.
