Local species include Skipjack, Bull Shark, Thresher Shark, Atlantic Mackerel, Hammerhead Shark, Tiger Shark, Black Seabass, Cobia, Scup (Porgy), Blacktip Shark, Dogfish, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.

Capt. Robert believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Your boat for the day is the Island Girl, a 39' Key West sportfishing boat with space for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Robert will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
