If you're ready to go fishing out of Galesville / Shady Side, MD (Oct -Dec) look no further than Good Stuff Charters. With Captain Jeremy at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Striped Bass, Red Drum, Cobia, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Croaker, Spot, Perch and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll, live bait and bottom fish using light tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your excursion begins aboard a 36' Trojan sportfishing vessel with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Jeremy attempted to find multiple options but due to the date slip we ended up entertaining a large family during those options. Once they left, he offered a weekend trip, which is normally a more expensive trip, but honored the prior weekday rate. He even procured more comfortable life vest for our younger children. We caught seven Blue Fish across the family to include three kids. He cleaned the fish for a next day dinner and gave recommendations on preparation. This positive review is for the entire experience and flexibility not because he gave a discount - he earned every dollar and a healthy tip. Highest recommendation.
