Holden Beach has a fish with your name on it, so let Hook Ya Up help you catch it!
Depending on the season, you might hook into Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Ladyfish, Blacktip Shark, Bluefish, Skipjack, Cobia, and anything else that bites. You'll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be casting lines from a 19' Wellcraft center console that holds up to 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Hook Ya Up!

The not so silent storm.
My son and I had a horrible experience with another charter. We told that captain to bring us back to shore. We found this charter and had the time of our lives we will never forget. We got hit by a storm that was not showing anything other than light rain, it was the storm of the year and the captain got us back to the dock safely. We then restarted the time clock and started a 4 hour trip all over again. We got a 7 hour trip for the price of a 4 hour trip. It was extremely fun and was a life experience

Had fun, made it it work
We booked the charter with Captain Josh before really checking the weather forecast. Needless to say, we had some moderate winds and the bite was slow everywhere based on what we were hearing on the radio. Captain Josh was still able to hook us up and everybody got to catch a bunch of fish. We caught a variety of different fish but mainly croaker, which wasn’t a problem. If we are ever back in the area, I’d be sure to go with captain Josh again. Everybody had a blast.

Captain Joshua Rocks!
We had an incredible morning out on the water with Captain Joshua from Hook Ya Up fishing charters! My son Liam was reeling in fish non-stop and even landed a beautiful Black Drum. We caught trout, flounder, croakers... Captain Joshua kept bait on our poles and was genuinely a nice person who loves fishing. We had a great time from start to finish. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and great with my 12year old son. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun and productive day of fishing!

We booked the trip at the last minute and the transaction went great. The Captian suggested a plan and he was right on with his assessment. We had fish in the boat almost instantly and it was a great time for the party of 2. This Captian and crew knows the area and I felt safe the whole trip.

Awesome captian
We booked with captain Josh and he made our trip fun he was so helpful and easy going having to two preteen boys on the boat who had never salt water fished he helped them and kept their hooks with bait we caught two sharks and a lot of croaker on the trip would highly recommended and will be booking again
