Bite Me Charters
Make the most of your time in San Francisco and go fishing with Bite Me Charters.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Striped Bass, Halibut, Rockfish, Chinook Salmon, Lingcod, Sturgeon, White Seabass, Albacore Tuna, and plenty more. During the trip you might be spinning, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your trip begins aboard a 27' Boston Whaler sportfishing boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Trent will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Bite Me Charters.
