Depending on conditions, you might hook into Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Black Marlin, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Striped Marlin, Red Grouper, Cubera Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Skipjack, and whatever else is biting. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Your day begins aboard a 40' Carolina Express sportfishing vessel with space for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.
