These waters are known for Skipjack, Almaco Jack, Blackfin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Great Barracuda, Wahoo, White Marlin, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish.
You'll be dropping lines from Piru, a 40' Cabo Express convertible with space for 10 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Javier will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. the caption and crew did garte the kept us on fish all day.
Crew made sure I already had a ice cold beer, the boat has a good sound system we listened to music the whole time and the captain was very knowledgeable and made it fun the catch wasn't great on that given day but we managed to catch a few good ones
