Walleye, Perch, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Your day begins aboard a 23' Sport-Craft sportfishing vessel with room for 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
