Book your next trip with Sassa Fishing Company and find out what makes the fishing in Homosassa so unique. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain John can tell you all about the local fishery.

Your trip begins aboard a 24' Flats boat that was 100% custom built specifically for fishing in Homosassa Florida. Enjoy ample fishing space, dry storage, built in coolers and fish boxes, bluetooth stereo system and SHADE! That's right, ton's of shade on demand when you need it.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Black Drum, Cobia, Flounder, Gag Grouper, Grunt, Hogfish, Jack Crevalle, Permit, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, Sheepshead, and plenty more.

During the trip you might be spinning, popping, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. John also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

And that's it! Your fishing trip with Sassa Fishing Company is just a click away.
