There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Bottled waters are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
