Quepos has a fish with your name on it, so let Quepos Fishing help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Carlos is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are home to Amberjack, Cero Mackerel, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Goliath Grouper, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Red Snapper, Snook, and more, depending on the season.
On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 28' Center console that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has outriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Quepos Fishing.
