There's a fish with your name on it in San Miguel De Cozumel and Mimas Sport Fishing will help you catch it! With Captain Samuel at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Great Barracuda, Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, and anything else that bites. You'll target your catch by trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your excursion begins aboard a 30' Chris–Craft sportfishing vessel. It comes with downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks included on board.
Now, come aboard with Mimas Sport Fishing and get hooked!
