Spend the day with Pibi Cutz and see what's biting in Cozumel! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Santiago knows them forwards and back.
Around here it's common to catch Wahoo, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Bluefin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Great Barracuda, Sierra Mackerel, and more with any luck.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Trips with Pibi Cutz are great for kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks!
You'll be dropping lines from a 43' Motor yacht that can carry up to 14 passengers. It has downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
Now's the time to experience fishing in Cozumel for yourself, with Pibi Cutz!
