Carp fishing is fun for all levels of fishing expertise. Fights are long and crazy as they try to get away. Up to 4 people in October and November. 30lb Carp are caught and released often. Even the small 8lb Carp can fight very good.
Indian Head Charters welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be casting lines from a 22' Mako 2201 center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Michael has rods and reels for you.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
