If you're ready to have fun fishing in Milwaukee, look no further than Fire in the Wire Sportfishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jason can tell you all about the local fishery.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Brown Trout, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Lake Trout, and more with any luck. On these trips, you can expect to troll.
Children are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to keep up those energy levels!
You'll be fishing aboard a 22' Ranger sportfishing boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now's the time to experience fishing in Milwaukee for yourself, with Fire in the Wire Sportfishing!

Jason was a great guide and was very knowledgeable on multiple species. He made sure to tailor my experience to what I had never tried in my fishing adventures. The wind was calm enough to journey out onto the big lake and troll for Kings. Started out with a rollercoaster of emotions as we had hooked a nice one that made several long runs, and when we thought the fight was nearly over it shook the hooks just short of nettable distance. We did manage to get one in the boat, and I experienced several fights throughout the day. A lot was learned, and I am very grateful for the experience. Thank you, Captain Jason.
