The Mistress Fishing Charters is here to show you the stunning waters of Sarasota. With Captain Chris at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Black Seabass, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, and more. On these trips, it's common to drift using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Chris also offers Flounder gigging.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

You'll be fishing aboard a 27' ShearWater bay boat with capacity for 6 passengers total, but limited to 4 people for fishing charters, as to not make things to crammed. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you, but feel free to bring your own beverages. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
