Teaser Fishing Charters are based in beautiful Oranjestad, Aruba, and offer thrilling nearshore and offshore trips on the crystal blue waters. Captain Milton is a very friendly and experienced captain, who has been living and breathing fishing ever since he was a boy.

Your day will be spent aboard the stunning ‘Teaser’, an immaculately clean 35’ Bertram sportfisher that is equipped with everything you will need for a productive day out on the water. It is powered by twin Cummins 315HP engines, and can comfortably accommodate six passengers. The vessel is fully air-conditioned, and comes outfitted with sounders, radar, fishfinder, 2 VHF radios, EPIRB, and more. The boat engines are able to propel Teaser to cruising speeds of about 24 knots. To top it off, the boat is equipped with 3 fighting chairs, outriggers, downrigger, centerrigger and a large flybridge.

For fishing, the Teaser crew utilizes 30lbs, 50lbs and 80lbs Shimano and Penn International professional rods and reels. If you would like to eat your catch, the crew will be happy to take your fish to a restaurant or your hotel. Do note, however, that this does not apply to billfish - the Teaser team practices a strict ‘catch and release’ policy for these species. They are big believers in conservation and being responsible with marine resources for future generations. To that end, they do what they can to spread the word.

Captain Milton has been fishing these waters for over 20 years, and has claimed several titles in both local and international fishing competitions held in the area. He is also a proud record holder of a 1086lbs Blue Marlin.

There is a variety of roaming pelagics commonly targeted on Aruba deep sea fishing trips, including Blue Marlin and Sailfish, Wahoo, Dorado, Barracuda, Mackerel, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna, Bonito, Amberjacks and plenty of others. Depending on the season, Teaser charters also do jigging for Jacks, Groupers and other bottom fish.

Unfortunately my family and I spent over 3 hrs. riding huge waves and not one fish was caught. The Captain although cordial didn’t offer to slow down the boat to allow the fish to realize that bait was actually in the water. After 1-1 1/2 hrs the bait should have been changed to see if the fish would bite something different, however, the same lines and bait were dragged through the high ocean waves at super high speeds ending with everyone feeling sick and no fish. For the price paid and this being my first experience I can not say that it was pleasant. In addition, there were max 5 drinks in the cooler two of which were beer leaving my family without much to drink so this too did not fit the description of the trip.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your review.
Unfortunately we can not predict the sea and current before the fishing trips.
When trolling the boat speed is around 4 to 7 knots, which is the speed we troll with 365 days a year.
During our trolling fishing trips, we can not stop the boat, otherwise the bait will stop moving and we will not catch any fish.
It was out of our control that the sea was high and that you felt sick.
Regarding the beverages, we always have water and sodas available in our yeti cooler under the ice. Furthermore we have more water bottles and soda cans inside the cabin, which are at room temperature. We would have gladly helped you with your drinks request.
We hope you understand that our fishing trips are based on trolling only and jigging upon request, when the sea and current permit.
We are sorry our fishing trip was not as you expected.
We will note your remarks, to offer a better experience next time.
Have a great day!

Booked a 6 hr trip, cut it short after 3+ hrs of driving around burning fuel in 8-10ft swells. Absolutely no action, not even a nible, and crew did not seem to have any alternative plans or care one way or another. Don’t expect crew to get us to fish every time but for $600 I do expect some effort to find fish and communicate with us about their plan. Waste a morning and $.

Hi Gregg,

Thank you for your review.
Unfortunately we are unable to predict the sea and current of our fishing trips.
When the sea is rough there is no alternative plan, only trolling.
We were searching for fish with our depth fish finder, but there are some times when we do not catch fish.
We apologize if we had not mentioned what our fishing plans were.
Hope you have a better experience next time.

Regards,

Captain Milton
