Captain Nate is not only a seasoned angler with multiple tournament victories under his belt, but also passionate about creating memorable, safe, and exciting experiences for anglers of all ages.
We’ve racked up over 10+ tournament victories in Salmon-A-Rama within our family and bring that same drive and expertise to every charter. All you have to bring is your fishing license and whatever snacks you'd like—we’ll handle the rest!
When winter settles in, we shift gears and target two of the most exciting species you can catch through the ice—Steelhead and Brown Trout. These hard-fighting, cold-water giants are a true test of skill and a thrill for any angler.
Fishing in harbors and nearshore areas of Lake Michigan, we focus on proven locations where big browns and chrome-bright steelhead cruise beneath the ice. We provide heated shanties, high-end rods, reels, and electronics to give you the best shot at landing a fish of a lifetime.

Half Day Trip (Evening Salmon)
Sunset King bite
We got out about an hour later than we planned. Traffic was bad because the Brewer’s were playing the Cubs right when we were supposed to be meeting Nate at the dock! Turns out it didn’t matter. We launched got out to deep water and setup. We didn’t even have all our lines in the water and we had a fish on. Nate knew what to use and where to go. He has been fishing Lake Michigan his whole life. I am impressed with the way he is using this as a minstry as well. I would recommend using Casting for Christ as a guide. Not only do you get a knowledgeable captain, you support a great cause!

Half Day Trip (Morning Salmon)
Best salmon fishing I ever had!!!!
I brought my son-in-law out fishing before he was being deployed and we decided to go out on a charter with Nate. The experience was far above my expectations. I typically do not write reviews but in this case, I wanted to. We went out fishing early morning and Nate had us on the kings fast. I had never experienced so much action. We were catching kings sometimes two at a time and all of them were nice size. When the bite slowed, Nate quickly had us switch out colors on the jigs and we were back on them. We limited out by 10 am and capped off the best morning I have ever had on Lake Michigan. I have been telling my friends and family about Nate and will definitely go out again. He is one of the most knowledgeable Lake Michigan captains I have ever met. Thank you Nate and hope to see you again soon!!!!

I’ve had the pleasure of going out on open water and ice fishing with Nate and both were the best fishing experiences I’ve ever had! Nate is so knowledgeable when it comes to fishing! He knows all the best spots, always comes well prepared with all the needed gear and you can tell he’s very experienced with fishing. We caught a variety of different species! But, catching salmon, rainbow and brown trouts have been my favorites so far because they’re so fun to catch! I highly recommend booking with Nate as a guide whether you’re a beginner or experienced fisherman! Seriously, it’s such a great time!

Morning Salmon Fishing with Nate
Nate is incredibly knowledgeable about all things fishing! I went into the trip with no fishing experience and he made this a wonderful experience. He took the time to explain everything clearly, from the gear we were using to the techniques that would give us the best chance at landing a big salmon. His passion for fishing is contagious, and his easygoing personality made the trip not only successful but a lot of fun. It’s also clear that Nate’s love for Jesus shapes the way he treats people—with kindness, patience, and genuine care.
