Spend the day with Nighthawk Sport Fishing and let them show you what makes the fishing in Atlantic Highlands so memorable! Your guide for the day is Captain Ethan, bringing aboard their local experience.
These waters are known for Flounder, Striped Bass, Scup (Porgy), Tautog, Black Seabass, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! You can expect to do some drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your excursion begins aboard a 50' Robbins Headboat with room for 40 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter. But bringing your own equipment is always recommended
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. * Tip is not included on the price listed! A 20% tip is added to the total balance of the trip to take care of the mates*
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now, come aboard with Nighthawk Sport Fishing and get hooked!

We took our Boy Scout troop out for a fishing charter with Captain Ethan, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. From start to finish, Captain Ethan went above and beyond to make sure the Scouts had a fun, safe, and educational time on the water. He was great with the boys—patient, knowledgeable, and engaging. He taught them how to tie fishing knots, cast their lines, reel in their catches, and even how to properly filet the fish. It was hands-on learning at its best, and the Scouts were thrilled! The boat was clean and well-equipped, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Several of the Scouts caught their very first fish, which made for some unforgettable memories. If you're looking for a fun and meaningful outdoor experience for your troop, we highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Ethan. We'll definitely be coming back

The captain Ethan in first made Joe both very attentive and educational. They took us to a few spots and whenever we didn’t catch fish, we moved over and caught more at a different location between the six of us. We probably caught about 80 fish with 30 keepers overall we had a great time.
