Spend the day with Behard Sportfishing and get hooked on fishing in Cabo San Lucas! Your guide for the day is Captain Oscar, allowing you to benefit from their knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Amberjack, Pacific Barracuda, African Pompano Jack, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Black Seabass, Hammerhead Shark, Mako Shark, Thresher Shark, Short-Tail Red Snapper (Ehu), and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream.

You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Oscar can also show you kite fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

You'll be dropping lines from a 25' Center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Rods and reels are not included, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
