We had the best time with the whole crew! Everyone caught fish, the crew made everyone feel comfortable, experienced or not. Highly recommend this crew! The boat was great, comfortable and spacious. If you’re lucky you’ll see some turtles, dolphins or friendly pelicans.

What a fantastic day from 7am to 11am we caught so many fish.  Pictures shows those we kept by law and so many we threw back due to same.  We caught 2 very big Grouper 19.5 inches and 19.  Didn’t make 20 inch minimum so back in but what a time bringing them in for myself and my 8 year old grandchild Anthony.  Captain Jason did a great job picking 2 different spots and we caught so many fish we highly recommend Captain Joey charter at the Hyatt.  The 32 ft Yellowfin was fantastic and we quickly made it out about 14 miles.  The second mate Michael also did a great job getting everyone baited and ready to fish.  Just a perfect day for all of us again we highly recommend Captain Joey D’s charters.  Thank you for a great morning for myself, my son and son-n-law and my 2 grandkids.  Thank you Captain Jason and Michael,

Day started out questionable because of weather and capt Jason mapped out a good game plan to start a few miles out go from there.  Turned out to be an awesome day, both weather and fishing. Jason knows the area and techniques well; and Michael was a great fist mate.  Both we very friendly, personable, accommodating and super enjoyable to be with all day.  Michael was great with my 13yr old who’s only been sea fishing once prior.  The bonus was landing 3 large grouper near end of trip (Jason knows what he’s doing!); 30lbs, 45lbs, 90lbs!!!

With rough seas and windy conditions it was a tough day to be on the water. The captain and first mate worked very well together and still got me on the fish. While we didn’t hook onto our Goliath grouper we were aiming for I still had a blast.

Always keep in mind that it’s called fishing not catching for a reason. Enjoy the experience! I would commend a full day to anyone looking to go out but a half day caught me 7 different species of fish and one BIG Sheepshead. It was a blast!

1000% Recommend these guys. Everything was great. So easy to park at the Hyatt, walked right out back, found our boat ready with the guys all ready to go. We were off immediately 14mi out into the gulf. They hook our lines with live shrimp and we fished for a solid 2+ hours. Amongst the 4 of us we caught 2 Cobias (two small to take by 2”) and a lot of Snapper of which we took home 13. The guys were great, super friendly and encouraging, and even offered to stay a few extra minutes when we saw a small group of Cobia and try to get them right before heading in. Once back at the dock they filleted all our fish and bagged it and then we had it for dinner (fried snapper with pineapple salsa, was amazing). 10/10 day. Thanks guys!
