Deep Color Fishing
Fishing out of John’s Pass (Madeira Beach/St Petersburg), Deep Color Fishing specializes in fishing the reefs and wrecks in state waters. Captain Hank Valencia is an expert at giving anglers the chance to fish some productive spots at a reasonable price.
You’ll head out on these prolific waters on a 22’ Allcraft center console boat fitted with a large T Top for shade on those hot summer days. Powered by a 175 HP Suzuki Outboard, the boat reaches the best fishing spots with plenty of time to spare for you to focus on hooking a prize catch. The wireless trolling motor will help you approach some of those fearful specimens.
The crew at Deep Color Fishing has many years of experience fishing the local waters and is well-equipped to use the right bait at the right times to catch the fish that lives in and seasonally visit the waters off Florida’s West Coast.
With possible target species including Snapper, Grouper, Redfish, Snook, Sheepshead, Cobia, Mackerel, Trout, and Shark, they will put you and your friends or family on the fish while making sure you have a great time doing it.
Taking up to 4 guests out to 9 miles offshore, the crew is sure to provide you with an enjoyable and productive reef and wreck fishing adventure. They provide all the gear and bait you need, and will even clean and bag your fish for you at the end of the day. All you need to bring are your snacks and drinks, sunblock, and a camera.

Half Day Trip
At Last Cast
10/10 highly recommend! We had fish on as soon as we stopped the boat and moved spots if the catch slowed down. We were pulling in a variety of fish one after another. Captain Hank was laid back, helpful and had a good playlist. When the Captain called "Last Cast", a large fish was hooked on one of the rods at the back of the boat and he handed it off to our 16 year old to reel in a nurse shark. We were able to get pictures once the Captain pulled it onto the boat. Lifetime memories were made! When in the area, we are definitely going again. And we will forever measure the size of our fish in the number of Tacos it will make. Captain filleted and bagged 17 fish for us to take home. Thanks Cpt. Hank for unforgettable day!

Best Fishing trip ever
I would highly recommend booking with Hank from Deep Color Fishing Charter. Hank was very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure that out fishing trip was unforgettable. My son and I are avid fisherman and we're very impressed with Hank's determination to make sure that the customers experience was the best that it can be. Everything went smooth and Hank got our group above the fish. Did a 4hr morning nearshore and it was worth it. We brought more than enough fish home for dinner. Hank is one of the most reasonable charters you'll find. Down to earth guy, no frills and no nonsense.

Awesome trip
The captain was awesome in moving whenever he thought the action got a little slow and either let you decide if you wanted to troll for cuda or hit the reefs for some grouper action! Definitely will return next year! Recommend the 6 hour trip the time flies when you are having fun!!!

3 Hour Trip
Captain Hank is the Best
From the minute I stepped on the boat I could tell Captain Hank knew his stuff and we were going to have a great trip. He had everything ready to go so as soon as we pulled up to the reef we started catching fish. We caught 3 separate species Red drum, Black drum, and Sheepshead. This was one of the best 3 hour trips that I have ever taken! I would highly recommend Captain Hank for your next trip.
