4C’s Guide Service 

4C’s Guide Service has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Palacios. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Clay can tell you all about the local fishery.

These waters are known for Redfish, Speckled Trout, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, popping, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Children are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!

You'll be casting lines from a 20' Bay boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

Capt. Clay will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
