Come fish the Cannelton Dam which is home of the Indiana State record Blue Catfish (104 lbs). It is definitely one of the best fisheries around for trophy Catfish.
I am a Licensed United States Coast Guard Captain who knows these waters like the back of my hand. Ive been fishing the area from Troy ,In all the way up to Leavenworth,In for the last 15 years. Sometimes spending 3 to 4 days a week on the river and 12 hr days by myself committed to learning everything I can.
I fish off of a pontoon which has been fully customized into a Catfishing machine. I catch fresh bait for every trip so we have the best chance at landing you a trophy fish. I will work hard to put you on that lifetime fish and I will leave no stone unturned.
I provide everything needed to catch the fish. All you will need is a Indiana or Kentucky fishing license. I highly recommend a hat, sunglasses and sunblock. You can bring one cooler per group with drinks and snacks which you will definitely need for a long day on the water.
There are no firearms or drugs allowed on the boat.
* ***********PLEASE READ**************** Any dates booked from Jan to April are subject to short notice reschedule. These dates can still be very good to fish but based on flooding from heavy ice melt or spring rain's can make the river unfishable due to extremely high water and debris in the water. Not to mention iced over creeks will present a problem as well in the winter. I will reserve the right to cancel these trips on short notice if the conditions aren't right or safe . You will be refunded If I cancel the trip due to mother nature or you will have the option to reschedule your day

From start to finish, Nick delivered the best fishing charter experience I’ve ever had. He was extremely responsive during the booking process, making himself available for any questions and ensuring everything was seamless. On the day of the trip, he was punctual and dedicated — fishing with us for the full 8 hours. Nick’s pontoon is perfect for a day on the water. It’s spacious enough for multiple adults to spread out comfortably, and it’s especially accommodating for older guests since you don’t have to climb up and down like on some deck boats. The gear he provided was top‑notch, more than capable of handling the big blue catfish the Ohio River is known for. But honestly, Nick’s skill goes beyond equipment — he could probably find fish blindfolded. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced angler, he’s an excellent teacher who knows how to adapt his coaching style to each person. Our trip was nothing short of incredible: we pulled in 24 catfish, including several over 20 pounds — personal bests for us. Nick taught us how to walk baits on the Ohio, and for two hours straight we were hauling in beautiful blue cats. The value of this trip is unmatched. The pricing was already fair, but I’d pay more just for the knowledge and techniques Nick shared. If you want to get hooked on catfishing, book with Nick — you won’t regret it.

Captain Nick of Twin Eagles Catfish Charters put our group of 3 on a variety species of fish. We caught blues, flatheads, channels and stripers. We had a trifecta and Captain Nick was quick to help each of us net and remove hooks and get bait back in the water efficiently. Catching bait for our outing was interesting and exciting as well. Came from Northern Michigan to fish the Ohio River and had a great time! We caught a great variety of fish! Falthead, Channel, Blue cats, Striper and a SkipJack! Nick was very knowledgeable, and despite the weather being uncooperative, he still made sure we had a fun time, and put us on fish!! Would definetly recommend him, and if we come to fish this river again, we'll for sure be using Nick as our Captain!

Captain Nick is great guy. just heard about him earlier this year. Our first trip in May was so great we took a second trip in June. My son caught his PB catfish today, 24.5 pounds. I highly recommed taking a trip with them.
captain nick got us on some good fish and we had a blast. We caught 9 catfish (biggest one weighing in at just under 16 lbs (new pb)), and one wiper (new species)!
