Pacific Coast Charters welcomes you to the stunning waters of Los Angeles in the Santa Monica Bay. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Josh can tell you all about the local fishery.
Around here the fishing is popular for Dolphin, California Sheephead, Rockfish, Lingcod, Striped Marlin, Sand Bass, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail, Pacific Barracuda, Calico Bass, Halibut, and more with any luck. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Josh also offers kite fishing for full day offshore tuna fishing.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 28' Albin pilothouse with capacity for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Josh has rods and reels for you.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected and cant be taken, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

My experience was awesome! I would recommend the service to other Anglers.
My son-in-law and I had a window of opportunity and used it to go fishiy. We caught botb and enjoyable variety and quantity of fish. Josh worked hard to make it a good trip. The boat was clean and in great shape.
Josh is not only experienced, but he also very knowledgeable, kind and patient! We caught a ton of fish and had a great time. The boat is epic... and very comfortable.
