If you're ready to go fishing in Los Angeles with larger groups up to 41 passengers on a private upscale fishing charter, we've got you covered with The Legend Yacht. With Captain Steve at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
We primarily target Ocean Whitefish and a wide variety of Rockfish, and we are never surprised to hook into other species as well. You will catch a good deal of fabulous tasting fish that we will clean for you. You'll target your catch by drift fishing over large reefs about 8 miles out of the harbor.
Your fishing vessel for the day is a beautifully Classic 70' Chris-Craft motor yacht with room for up to 41 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There are beautiful guest facilities on board for your convenience.
All equipment, bait and tackle are provided by The Legend Yacht, as well as a Fishing Guide to hep you catch, make sure you catch, and clean the fish for you.
Trips are run with the help of a Fishing Guide as well as a Steward to take care of all your comfort needs.
Anyone planning to fish that is 16 years of age and older is required to have a Fishing License. We send you a link to purchase licenses online in advance for your convenience. These cost roughly $20.00/person for a 1 day license.
All trips will require a 50% deposit to the charter operator to complete the reservation.
At that time, boarding instructions will be forwarded, and the remaining balance can be paid on board by credit card, debit card, or cash.
We provide breakfast and beverages of a wide variety, all complimentary and served by our professional staff.

I started fishing at 3 years old with my father and grandfather. That was 68 years ago. I have fished for the best part of those years. I've fished competitively as well as league participation and have always prided myself in leading as opposed to following. We have developed many unique techniques on the ocean, replacing many of the old standards to create a more effective and interesting outing for our guests as well as ourselves.
