Ready to catch some fish, see some dolphin, and do some island hopping? Then Bone Island Adventures has a trip with your name on it! Your guide for the day is Captain Jamie, so you'll benefit from their knowledge and experience.
Great Barracuda, Cero Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Grunt, Hogfish, African Pompano Jack, Horse-eye Jack, and more inhabit these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year.
On the day of your trip you're as likely to troll and bottom fish as you are chasing fins in the back country using light tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's also spearfishing.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly! And don't forget the non-aerosol sunscreen!
Your trip begins aboard a 29' Sea Hunt center console that can carry up to 6 passengers in your party. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials for fishing and snorkeling. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and towels. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Bone Island Adventures will make it easy for you to go fishing in Holmes Beach. So, how about booking that trip?

Had an awesome trip with Captain Jamie at Bone Island Fishing Charters. He was great — super friendly and accommodating the whole time. We had 6 people in our group and all felt comfortable on the 30’ center console, plenty of room for everyone. We got a great bonus right off the bat with a pod of dolphins, then Jamie put us on fish quickly. Ended up catching a nice variety: sea trout, ladyfish, jack crevalle, snook, and even some catfish. Non-stop action and a really fun day on the water. Highly recommend Captain Jamie if you’re looking for a laid-back, productive charter. We’ll definitely be booking with him again next time we’re in town.

We wanted to make sure we had some fish we could eat after the trip! Capt Jamie put us on some speckled trout due to the high winds and then we moved over to some more game fish. Bait was very hard to find and everyone was having that problem, but we were able to get bait. We caught Speckled Trout, Snook, Redfish, catfish (boo), Bluefish, and Permit(Awesome fight)!! I recommend Capt Jamie for your charter and would go again next trip! He knows what you can and can't do in certain weather conditions!

Captain Jamie made our experience the highlight of our trip to Anna Maria. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, he was the coolest Captain. We fished, we played at the sand bar, he cleaned our trout, he showed us the area and most importantly, we laughed and made fantastic memories. We will definitely book with him again!
Amazing day with Captain Jamie! We saw dolphins and then caught several fish for our dinner plus a few extras. Trout, for eating - and then a small shark, porcupinefish, bluefish, ladyfish, and more! Highly recommend a day of fishing with the knowledgeable and experienced Captain Jamie.

Our captain was great! SUPER knowledgeable and SUPER fun to be with! We appreciated his diligence in putting us on some fish. Between the 6 of us, we caught the limit of sea trout, plus many other types of fish. We also saw so many dolphins! It was such a beautiful and relaxing day!
