Sassa Fishing Company welcomes you to the stunning waters of Tampa.

These waters are known for Speckled Trout, Snook, Sheepshead, Redfish, Black Drum, Ladyfish, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream.

For these species, you're likely to spin using light tackle. Capt. John also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your boat for the day is a 25' Bay boat with space for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
