This is Marco Fishing Company's 2019 Cobia 21 center console, a roomy, stable boat that's great for families and shark trips. Your group has it to yourselves.
Your captain: our licensed, local captains are led by owner Capt. Jamie Cox. Your captain's name is confirmed before your trip.
What you'll catch: snook, redfish, speckled trout, mangrove snapper, sheepshead, goliath grouper, cobia and sharks in the Ten Thousand Islands and the nearshore Gulf.
Kids are welcome. Life jackets in every size are on board (required for kids under 7).
Included: fishing license, rods, reels, tackle, live bait, ice and water. Keep legal fish and we'll clean and fillet them.
Bring: sunglasses, hat, non-spray sunscreen, snacks and any drinks you like. Beer and wine are fine. No hard liquor or glass.
The boat: 2019 Cobia 21 with a Yamaha 150. Up to 4 guests for the base price, up to 6 for $50 per extra guest. Bigger group? Message us and we'll book a second boat.

- Winter (Dec–Feb): sheepshead, black drum, trout, pompano, redfish on warm days
- Spring (Mar–May): snook, redfish, trout, cobia; tarpon arrive late spring
- Summer (Jun–Sep): tarpon, snook, mangrove snapper, sharks, goliath grouper

Matt was a great captain and very knowledgeable with the area and what we were targeting. we caught lots of fish despite slow fishing conditions. He was very interactive with our kids letting them help him for a very enjoyable experience. i would recommend this charter for anyone with a family looking for a fun adventure and some great fishing. Thank you Matt and Marco Fishing Company for a great first fishing experience in florida and hope to look you up again on our next trip!
Usually I get super sea sick but our captain was amazing he knew what he was doing the view was amazing and we caught lots of fish would highly recommend

In advertising this boat on FishingBooker, the owner of the fishing company is listed as the captain of this boat. They specifically mention that there are no reviews because this is a new boat and not because of anything else. I took a bit of a risk because I believed I was signing up for a captain experienced in these particular waters. While our captain was very nice, and accommodating, he had never fished these waters before. He had never been on this boat before this trip, and as such, he ran aground 3 times during our trip, and had to learn how to use the trolling motor on the fly. While we caught a fair number of fish, it was nothing but small (like really small) sheepshead and small snappers. Not the kind of trip you pay $600 for. On top of that, the gear was really only set up for the smallest catch. I wrote to the owner of the business and he suggested I contact him outside of FishingBooker (which I did). I gave him 2 chances to make it right, and I've not heard back. I don't expect every trip to be awesome, but this was particularly disappointing given the premium this company asks.
