These waters are known for Peacock Bass, Blacktip Shark, Red Grouper, Red Snapper, Redfish, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing and bowfishing.
Capt. Derek welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Capt. Derek welcomes you and up to 3 of your friends aboard individual 12' Heritage Redfish 12 Kayaks. They come with a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, and will be provided upon booking. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be food and some light snacks included on board.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 30% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
