That allows her to develop a maximum cruising speed of 45 knots, so you won't waste any time traveling to the fishing grounds! Outriggers and a live bait well are available on board, to let you focus on the fish and give you an edge over your prey.

With his know-how and teaching abilities, you'll set off after Sailfish, Marlins, King and Spanish Mackerel, Groupers, Snappers, Black Seabass, Amberjacks, Cobias, and many other species. You'll get the chance to use a variety of techniques like spinning, jigging, and popping with light tackle, trolling, bottom fishing, or even kite fishing.
Clearlyhooked fishing charters have no minimum age policy for kids and invite anglers of all ages to come aboard. Captain Austin will clean and fillet your catch free of charge, if the total weight is under 70 pounds. Above that, a small fee is applied per pound. Pickup is available for clients under 10 miles away, anything further than that a flat $50 rate is charged.

Our family's first offshore fishing trip was one we'll never forget! 🎣 My son caught a sand shark, (my duaghter was beyond excited to pet it!) My boyfriend reeled in a hammerhead (no idea how he will ever top that!), and we even saw dolphins, sea turtles, and stingrays. The Captain (Nick) and First Mate (Max) were absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, fun, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. When I started feeling overheated, Nick immediately made sure I was okay, which I really appreciated. We'll definitely be booking with them again next year... although I think I'll be supporting the crew from dry land next time! 😂 Highly recommend! 🦈
Captain Nick and First Mate Max are outstanding guides who are relaxed and laid back. Our first attempt to go out was rained away, but Captain Nick was great and scheduled us for later in the week. They were very helpful and answered our 13yo’s multiple questions. We caught mackerel for a couple of hours and then spent the last hour fishing for shark. We had an excellent time and look forward to fishing with Nick and his crew again on our next visit to Carolina Beach! We recommend them highly without hesitation.
We went out on the shark fishing excursion with two adults, a teen, and two ten yr olds. Captain Nick and his helper Max were wonderful. They helped us catch a shark, flounder, lizard fish, trout fish, sea bass and a couple others I'm forgetting. We also saw two sharks swimming in the water and some dolphins as well. We enjoyed our friendly conversations with Max as he helped us rebait and untangle our lines over and over again. Thank you for a great fishing experience!
so our trip wqs scheduled for 5pm for a shark trip nick called and said they had one trip that ended at 11 and had nothing else till 5 and we could come whenever we wamted for our trip, we got there at 1230 amd fished our two hour trip carching okent of bait mackerel and then 3 legal to keep amd one shark, ill homestly book them again cause the ease and enjoymemt of being on the ocean the boat was pristeen and equipment was top notch
Nick and Max took us out to catch some sharks! On board was my husband, myself, our 14 year old and our 2 year old. When looking for a tour I wanted one that was kid friendly. After reading many previous reviews, I chose this one and it definitely didn’t disappoint! We caught a sandshark, several seabass, some spanish mackerel, and some other fish. They were great at communicating what we were doing ahead of time and even stopped to let us see some dolphins! We definitely will book with them again in tbe futrue!
