Join them aboard their 28’ long Contender, a center console built in 2015. She can hold up to 6 anglers in comfort, without tangling lines. She’s got quite the kick behind her, with twin Yamaha engines outputting a total of 600 HP. That allows her to develop a maximum cruising speed of 45 knots, so you won’t waste any time traveling to the fishing grounds! Outriggers and a live bait well are available on board, to let you focus on the fish and give you an edge over your prey.
Your teacher and assistant on this fishing adventure will be Captain Austin Eubank. He’s got over two decades of fishing experience under his tackle belt, with multiple Kingfish tournaments wins. With his know-how and teaching abilities, you’ll set off after Sailfish, Marlins, King and Spanish Mackerel, Groupers, Snappers, Black Seabass, Amberjacks, Cobias, and many other species. You’ll get the chance to use a variety of techniques like spinning, jigging, and popping with light tackle, trolling, bottom fishing, or even kite fishing.
Clearlyhooked fishing charters have no minimum age policy for kids and invite anglers of all ages to come aboard. Captain Austin will clean and fillet your catch free of charge, if the total weight is under 70 pounds. Above that, a small fee is applied per pound. Pickup is available for clients under 10 miles away, anything further than that a flat $50 rate is charged.

Kids introductory trip on September 23, 2024
My 12-year old son has never been fishing, but really wanted to learn. I wanted to be sure we went out with someone who would be patient and help him love fishing and being on the water. Captain Austin and his first mate, Tyler, were fantastic. They were very patient and helpful, explaining everything and answering a million questions. They made sure my son felt like he was the star of the show, and most importantly, they made sure he caught some fish. We got to try several different styles and locations of fishing, and when they weren’t biting in one, Captain moved us to a different one. We caught four nice flounder, but sadly, we had to throw them back because it wasn’t flounder season. It was still fun fighting them and pulling them in, and we got great pics with them. Again, Captain made sure we kept at it until we got some fish we could keep. We ended up with a couple of nice Red Drum and a Blue Fish. Tyler cleaned the fish for us when we got back, and they gave me tips for cooking them. Fresh fish cooked over a charcoal grill is out of this world! We’re definitely hooked now. Not only did my son say this was the best vacation ever, but he’s already trying to figure out when we can do it again. Many thanks, Austin and Tyler! We’ll be back!

I’m a local but my kids are not. Since moving here to Wilmington, I have wanted to go on a fishing charter. Well I figured with my kids visiting this would be the perfect time to do it. They were skeptical to say the least and my daughter who is 15 was not for it at first. By a hour into our 4 hour trip both my daughter and son (17) were having the time of their life! Nick made sure that both of my kids caught a shark and even got my daughter a shark tooth to keep. She hasn’t stopped talking about it for days now! They didn’t care that it poured down rain. They were singing and dancing and just living their best life! I would recommend this to everyone I know! Completely worth it!
