Whether you are looking to spend your day fishing or sight seeing, Captain Wills McKenzie is the guide for you! Born and raised in Port Charlotte, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
You'll be dropping lines from a 23' Dorado Custom Fishing Boat where you'll find live bait, rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip!
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, a hat & sunblock (non-spray). Extra will be on the boat just in case! Water and Gatorade will be onboard. Feel free to bring food and drinks. Prior to the trip, let your Captain know what you intend to bring. Two Yeti Coolers are onboard with room for additional if necessary. Give Capt. Wills a call with any specific requests.

Full day inshore with Captain McKenzie
8 Hour Trip – Inshore on October 17, 2025
Booked at last second Full Day inshore trip with Captain Mckenzie. He was more than accommodating making sure we got out on the water asap, and bringing plenty of snacks and water as well. Captain McKenzie was extremely informative, prompt, patient, well equipped, phenomenal with his time management and impressively knowledgeable, making sure every single stop we made we caught multiple fish. Every single person on the boat also caught an inshore slam (redfish snook and trout). All in all I was very impressed, and will definitely be using captain McKenzie again to show my friends and relatives the amazing fishing and nature in the Charlotte harbor. 11/10 Stars

We had an incredible 5-day trip with McKenzie Charter Company! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The boat was clean, comfortable, and provided a smooth ride every day. The equipment was great, and we couldn’t have asked for a better fishing setup.
Over the course of the trip, we caught more than 100 fish — including trout, redfish, triple tails, snook, and other inshore species. The highlight of the trip was landing a massive 40-inch snook — such an awesome fight and unforgettable experience!
Wills knows his stuff, keeps the trip fun, and makes sure everyone has a great time on the water. Highly recommend this charter for anyone looking for a top-quality fishing adventure.
