Fish from land and explore spots only the locals know about. Your guide, Øystein Davidsen, will provide you with all the necessary equipment for an enjoyable day on the water.
You'll target a variety of local species, including sea run Brown Trout, Mackerel, Seabass, Dogfish, Turbot, Plaise, Garfish, Haddock, Wrasse, Whiting, and more.
You're welcome to keep any fish within size and bag limits. Øystein can also clean your catch for you so it's hassle-free when you get home. Or, he can even cook it for you after the trip, turning your fresh fish into a delicious dinner. You're welcome to bring up to 5 anglers on this guided experience. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.
Expect to get in touch with Øystein before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there. The meeting location is in Egersund area but varies depending on the weather and where the fish are biting.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group will need to buy one. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Be sure to dress in layers and wear suitable footwear. Bring some water and food and you'll be good to go.

We had an amazing day at the sea. Øystein is a very calm and friendly instructor and teached us not only how to catch our first fishes in salt water but also how to get from the catch to a filet. We catched a makreel and several pollacks which he prepared for us as lunch in his smoker. Overall we do fully recommend a fishing trip with Øystein!

Øystein was outstanding and we were fortunate to also have his son tag along to help out. This is a definite have to do to experience the location and culture from an amazing guide. When we come back this is top of our list to do again!!!

It was our first time fishing, and we loved it! The kids loved it too. We really enjoyed the hike, the beautiful location, and of course, we couldn't have done it without our wonderful guide. We had an amazing time!

We've booked tour and we're positively surprised! What a nice Trip. Caught good amounts of fish with an amazing view. Also he offered us to grill/smoke some of the fish right on the spot and brought us coffee and traditional norwegian snacks. He is a local with a lot of experience and has an answer to every question we had. Also his english is amazing, and he is a very nice person in general. 10/10 would recommend. Next time we are here we probably will book again.
Øystein was a fantastic host and we had a great time fishing for sea bass this spring. He was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our day together and we would highly recommend him for anyone wanting an authentic fishing experience in Norway. Thank you, Øystein!
