Make some memories in Miami Beach and go fishing with Salty vets fishing charters.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, Skipjack, Great Barracuda, Salmon, Sailfish, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Skipjack Tuna, and whatever else takes the bait.
You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Raymond can also show you kite fishing.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Capt. Raymond will bring you aboard a 60' Convertible that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Salty vets fishing charters!
