Spend the day with Lancaster Guide Service and find out what the fishing in Alba is all about! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jonathan can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are home to Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Catfish, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. For these species, you're likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
You'll be casting lines from a 21' Phoenix bass boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat. Water and ice are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Lancaster Guide Service!

Captain Jonathan is very knowledgeable about Lake Fork and knows how to pit anglers on both bass and crappie. He is also ver friendly and easy to get along with.

We'd never been to the area and didn't really know what to expect, except great fishing. Jonathan absolutely delivered on the fun - knowledgeable of the area and technique, great communication before and during the trip, and an overall memorable experience. We caught our "personal best" bass on this trip.

Thank you Ashleigh! yall were and absolute blast to have on the boat. look forward to having yall back out!
Had an absolute blast! Caught some great-sized fish and celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday the best way possible. Our guide, Jonathan, was amazing and made the whole experience even better. It was the perfect fishing trip, and we would go back in a heartbeat! 🎣🎉
Great trip, lots of fun! Jonathan was knowledgeable and fun and took the time to explain many different techniques! Highly recommended, and I'll be back ASAP! I'm very sure that every level of fisherman would have a great trip with Jonathan!

I have lived on Lake Fork since May 2007. I have spent an average of 250+ days a year on the water. I have had a very successful tournament career and reputation on the lake.
