Our Lake Müritz is home to very large fish; Pike up to 130cm, Zander up to 98cm, Perch up to 52cm and Carp up to 28kg are possible.
The best months for catching large Pike are March, April, May, October, November, and December. The best months for catching large Perch are May and June, as well as September and October. The best months for Carp and Tench are from mid-April to mid-September.
We will actively fish for predatory fish from a drifting boat using spinning rods. We will fish for Carp or Tench from the shore using bottom rods.
Capt. Bernhardt operates a 21' Mole Boote sportfishing boat with capacity for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, as well as lures.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is not allowed.
