Local species include Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Skipjack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Black Grouper, African Pompano Jack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Mutton Snapper, Bull Shark, and more, depending on the time of year.

For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your day begins aboard a 31' Sportfishing with space for 5 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Mauricio has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
