Fintastic Fishing offers unforgettable fishing trips out of the world-famous Robbie's Marina in the heart of Islamorada, Florida. Peruse the flats and backcountry of the Everglades National Park with Captain Mike Patterson in search of numerous inshore fish species while enjoying the unspoiled wildlife in the surroundings.
You'll head out on the custom-built 18' Action Craft perfect for accessing shallow water of the local flats. When targeting easily spooked species such as Bonefish and Permit it is essential to be able to access shallow water as quietly as possible, and this technical poling skiff will allow you to do just that.
With Hummingbird electronics, an 8' Power Pole anchoring system, a trolling motor and a Mercury 4-stroke engine all fitted on board – this boat has everything you need to target whichever inshore fish you are hoping to catch.
Capt. Mike will supply a selection of top quality fly rods by Sage, as well as spinning tackle. Use this to catch species such as Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit, Snook, Trout, Redfish, and Sharks. Practice sight fishing from the boat's front platform, and let your experienced shallow water guide share his favorite techniques with you during the trip.
All the rods, reels, tackle, bait, and lures you will need during your trip will be supplied for you, and the crew even offers a fish cleaning service back at the dock free of charge. Children are very welcome on all trips, so take your family on an adventure of a lifetime!

Our family of three had a great time fishing with Captain Chris. He was a great guide to the area pointing out lots of wildlife and helping us learn the ropes of fishing in this area. We caught trout, mangrove snapper, and a small snook. The keepers were delicious!

thank you for taking the time to write this review. We had a great time. Also, please come back again.
great guy with fantastic knowledge of the area
would go in a minute again
Captain Mike Patterson started fishing at the tender age of 4 years old in a stream behind his house in Maryland and he continued to fish the state's diverse fishery as he was growing up. Although Captain Mike started his career as an electrician, he suffered an extremely serious accident at 26, when he broke his neck. Deciding from this point on to live his life to the fullest, he became a dive instructor and moved to Islamorada, where he ran a dive shop and led offshore fishing charters. Having enjoyed a successful career offshore, he decided to become a full-time backcountry fishing guide, entering and winning multiple backcountry tournaments. He's now been a fishing guide for over 30 years and, having fully recovered from his near-death accident, is determined to continue living his life to the fullest and to be thankful for every day he has on this earth. Captain Mike fishes with captains Chris and Phil. They are also amazing captains and will make your day on the water perfect.
