Amistad Bass
Amistad Bass is all about fishing the stunning waters of Del Rio. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Stan is prepared to put you on fish.
These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, White Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Striped Bass, Crappie, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream. For these species, you're likely to use light tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your boat for the day is a 21' Triton bass boat with space for 2 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Stan has rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
