Excited to go fishing in Hurghada? Make it happen, with Tai Tours! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Ahmeed can tell you all about the local fishery.
The fish in these waters include Trevallies, Triggerfish, Tuna, and more if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Any fish within the legal limit are yours to take with you.
Trips with Tai Tours are fun for all ages, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your day begins aboard a 36' catamaran that holds up to 8 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
(For the half day trip & normal day trip )
**** for the rods you pay 15$ per 1kg
**** for the snacks and soft drink fresh fruits you 20$
**** if you need trolling and jigging or popping equipment you pay 10$ for each one as renting

It was the best fishing trip ever I had , they moved on time they crow was really lovely and helpful and supported, they moved to many locations to help me get fishing and fish and we really did it , i really recommend them to you guys , thanks for this trip and when I come back I will definitely book with you again thanks in advance 😊

thanks brother and we hope to see you again

we didnt catch some good fish, but it was ok. it took a little while until we made our way on the water and get the boat running, but then it was good. maybe another day would have been better for me, but its not the captains fault, he tried to make it as good as possible. Something was really strange with the fish, even on a Handline they just took the bait and you didnt feel anything.

thanks for your review ❤️ and i wish next time when you come the weather will be better

Exagerated additional fees requested without upfront clear information (45€ extra for 6 drinks and some fruit leaves) + throwing all wastes in the see (cigarettes, metal crown cap, ...) + letting the fished fishes die under the sun on the boot + poor material at our disposal for fishing. In a nutshell a big scam to have money from the tourists

Dear Eric, I’m sorry you felt this way, but I would like to clarify a few points for anyone reading this review. First, regarding the drinks and extra fees: you received 4 bottles of beer (each one costing $10), 6 cans of soft drinks (3 Fanta and 3 Sprite), and a fresh mixed fruit selection. The extra charges were clearly listed on the app before the booking, and I also personally sent you a screenshot one day before the trip showing the additional items and their prices. So there was no intention to hide or surprise you with any extra charges. Regarding the fishing equipment, you were provided with hand-line fishing, which is the fishing method offered on this type of trip. You were able to fish yourself during the trip. As for the fish, the fish did not die during the trip. After we finished, our crew cleaned and prepared the fish, and the guests were actually very happy with the result. Finally, I completely respect that you may not have enjoyed the experience, but describing the trip as “a big scam” is simply unfair and does not reflect what actually happened. We provided the drinks, fruit, fishing activity and service that were agreed upon, and the additional costs were communicated before the trip. I always try to be transparent with my guests and provide the best experience possible. I’m sorry that this particular trip did not meet your expectations, but I wanted to clarify the facts for future guests.

Overall rip off, I had to pay a lot after I paid for all. Plus fishing gear was old and don't work as need. And spend a lot of time to get there and back, trip was a bit bad, and long ding ding.

thanks for your comment, but why you dont write what exactly happened and post the photos for the fishes you get , and also u can post photo for the gear too , anyway if there's something you didnt like am sorry and we will try ro handle it next time wish for you a good day
