Hi, my name is J. Daly. I'd like to host your Walleye trip. I've been leading trips professionally since 2003, and I'm still very excited about catching fish. I'm sure you'll find my boat and fishing gear to be the best available and in top notch condition. Expect me to show up prepared and on time. I'm told I have a patient manner. Over the years, I've learned how to effectively coach people to learn new fishing skills. All skill levels are welcome.

We target Walleye and incidentally catch Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Sturgeon and Catfish. This trip is fantastic for kids.

For these species, you're likely to troll or jig using light tackle. I'll show you how we put the gear in the zone and how to feel the bite. If you like holding onto the rod, this is the fishery for you. Test your fishing skills! For best results our departure time and location is flexible as determined by the Capt.

Children are welcome. Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring drinks and snacks! I'll always have water on board for you to drink.

You will fish aboard a 25' Fishing Machine that holds up to 6 passengers. Loaded to the nines for your comfort and safety. I supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included.

Please note that our departure time and location is flexible and set by the captain.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. You need an Oregon or Washington fishing license with a Columbia River endorsement. This information is available online. Be sure to take care of this the day before our trip as licenses are not available first thing in the morning.

Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

I look forward to meeting you!

Top Notch Fishing Trips!
Full Day Trip on August 20, 2025

I’ve been fishing with Jay for over 20 years, and he is an outstanding guide, coach, and person. His experience, network, and instincts put us on fish year after year. His gear and coaching consistently get fish in the boat. The experiences are endless—many trips with family and friends have turned into truly incredible memories. I’m a gear head and really appreciate quality equipment, and Jay always has the best. He continually refreshes his boat with top-of-the-line rods, reels, electronics, and safety gear. From spring Chinook to summer and fall salmon, and winter walleye and sturgeon when available, every trip has been a memorable experience shared with friends, family, and Jay. I highly recommend this experience.

Reported catch:
Chinook Salmon
Coho Salmon
Walleye

Best Fishing Ever!
Full Day Trip on August 30, 2025

J. Daley puts you on the fish! I have been on his boat 5 times already. We booked the full boat for another trip this summer. I have been with a handful of other guides that will yell at you when you make a mistake. He is patient and fun to fish with. If you are new he will help you and show you what to do. He nets your fish, cleans it, filets and bags it for you. He does it all. I have a boat and I thought I knew how to fish but he thought me new techniques and showed me new equipment. Nice boat. Top of the line equipment. Great guide. Fun times. Best fishing ever!

Highly Recommend Jay Daly
Full Day Trip on January 29, 2026

I've had the pleasure of fishing with Jay on numerous occasions and each time I left knowing Jay put for his best effort. And not surprisingly, at the end of the day I brought home a limit of salmon. Jay is professional, personable and an accomplished angler. I have no reservations recommending Jay. In fact, I've done it numerous times.
