Flounder, Black Seabass, Tautog, Striped Bass, Bluefish, Scup (Porgy), Mahi Mahi, Weakfish, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Gray Triggerfish, Ling, and more are in the cards, depending on when you go. For these species, you're likely to drift and bottom fish using light tackle.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks and water will be available, but feel free to bring your own snacks and lunch to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

Your adventure begins aboard a 25' Boston Whaler center console that holds 4-6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to sign up for the NJ saltwater registry (registration is free). This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
