With (United States Army veteran) Captain Denny at the helm, you'll benefit from over 30 years of knowledge and experience, and have FUN! Trips can be customized for the casual fisherman or the serious walleye angler.
He is a 2025 Lake Erie Walleye Trail Jig/Cast tournament Champion, two-time state champion, Cabela's National Team Championship qualifier, Master's Walleye Circuit championship qualifier and seminar speaker.
Forward facing sonar (ActiveTarget 2 and Garmin LiveScope) jigging/casting or trolling trips are available. Capt. Denny also offers seasonal fly fishing, but you will need to bring your own fly gear.
You'll be fishing from a 23' Ranger tournament style multi-species boat with room for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and/or live bait.
Before coming aboard, it is required to buy an Ohio fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is available online at the Ohio Division of Natural Resources website.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, drinks/snacks, sunblock (Non-spray) and weather appropriate clothing. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. You will also need a large cooler to transport your catch.

Denny owner/ operator of 22 sport fishing charter was an exceptional guide. His professionalism and his knowledge of walleye fishing was top 1% in my oppinion. We limited out on 6hrs 2 day trip on first day in 2 hours and on 2nd day in 3 hours. He found fish immediately and his techniques in catching fish was outstanding! Not only was he our guide he is now our friend, and we will be back at least once or twice a year to book him in future years. He is also a army vet as am I and we talked on end about fishing, military, and things he thought we would like to see while in Cleveland. He did many photos w fish for us. He went out of his way beyond being a charter captain ill never forget this experience. Can't wait for future visits with him. Ill only book with him for now on. Thank you capt. Denny you were a great guide and now I consider my new friend from Cleveland!!!! Guys you will love your trip if you book with him.

Capt. Denny was very professional but also very personable. We had many laughs throughout the day. He had us on fish quick and kept us around them the entire time, had a limit quick with great quality fish. The equipment and boat was top of the line and made the experience enjoyable for everyone. If you want a livewell full of fish to take home book this captian! I will definitely book again.
