With (United States Army veteran) Captain Denny at the helm, you'll benefit from over 30 years of knowledge and experience, and have FUN! Trips can be customized for the casual fisherman or the serious walleye angler.
He is a 2025 Lake Erie Walleye Trail Jig/Cast tournament Champion, two-time state champion, Cabela's National Team Championship qualifier, Master's Walleye Circuit championship qualifier and seminar speaker.
Forward facing sonar (ActiveTarget 2 and Garmin LiveScope) jigging/casting or trolling trips are available. Capt. Denny also offers seasonal fly fishing, but you will need to bring your own fly gear.
You'll be fishing from a 23' Ranger tournament style multi-species boat with room for 3 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and/or live bait.
Before coming aboard, it is required to buy an Ohio fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is available online at the Ohio Division of Natural Resources website.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, drinks/snacks, sunblock (Non-spray) and weather appropriate clothing. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. You will also need a large cooler to transport your catch.
