Hooked on Arkansas Fishing is here to help you experience the stunning waters of Ashdown. Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Joel can tell you all about the local fishery.
Crappie, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Catfish, and more can be found in these waters if conditions are right.
Trips with Hooked on Arkansas Fishing are child-friendly, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
You'll be dropping lines from a 21' Bass boat with space for 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Waters will be available for you.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Hooked on Arkansas Fishing!
