Black Sea Bass, Flounder, Common Ling, Dolphin (Mahi-mahi), Striped Bass, Tilefish, Thresher Shark, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year.
On these trips, you can expect to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome on certain trips ! Check with Capt. Chuck prior to booking. Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your vessel for the day is a 27' Cape Horn Center console powered by Twin Suzuki 200 hp outboards with capacity for 4 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included if determined to be needed for the trip.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Beer and hard seltzer is allowed in moderation, no hard liquor as well as glass bottles. No drugs including marijuana or weapons allowed on board.
