If you're ready to experience fishing in Islamorada, look no further than Sunup Sundown Sportfishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Taylor can tell you all about the local fishery.
These waters are known for Bonefish, Goliath Grouper, Jack Crevalle, Lobster, Permit, Blacktip Shark, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, Redfish, Tripletail, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"
On these trips, you can expect to be using light tackle. Capt. Taylor also offers fly fishing for beginners, intermediate and advanced anglers!
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available so we can make sure we have the proper size available. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Capt. Taylor offers trips on two different fishing vessels!
For family action and groups you will love his East Cape 21' EVO Center Console that holds up to 4 passengers. Equipped with a second station tower, it has everything you need for a productive day on the water!
For our trips with 2 passengers or less, our Stalk the Flats 18’ Chittum Mangrove skiff may be desired to stealthily chase your target species!
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided. Fly Fishing equipment can be requested for either vessel, beginners are highly encouraged!
There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons, if your desire is to catch fish to keep please let the Captain know in advance. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
It's always wise to bring sunglasses and sunscreen. There will be water provided, but please bring anything else you might desire along with you. Alcohol is always allowed, but remember to drink responsibly.
